Summary
Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2025 MODE XO vehicles. The seat assembly's floor mounting system may be improperly welded, which can cause the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems."
How to resolve this:
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 2, 2025. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
What happens if you don't resolve this:
A loose or detached seat assembly increases the risk of injury.
