Recall Summary
Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2018-2019, 2024-2026 G5E transit buses. The power steering pump may fail to start when the ignition is turned on or may shutdown unexpectedly.
The issue:
A loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.
How to resolve this:
Dealers will inspect and update the software as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 11, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-119-PUC.
